Use OBi Expert to make the config changes.

There is a bug in the firmware that causes some devices to fail registration.
Go to:
Status -> System Status
Scroll down to SP4
If the 7965G is registered, its IP address will be displayed.

If it's not registered, do the following:

Change to 7965G to not register. Not all phones have this option.

Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_Proxy: Unchecked
Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute:
ph,sp4(OBi200@xx.xx.xx.xx:pppp)
Replace xx.xx.xx.xx:pppp with the IP address and port of the 7956G

If you are unable to follow azrobert's information and instructions, then by all means, do not use your CISCO IP Phone.

Get a simple corded analog phone at Walmart, connect that phone to the OBi200 device phone port.

Or, get OBi Phone instead, go here:  https://www.obitalk.com/info/products/obi1032

Good luck!
