enable star codes with auto attendant

I call the obi200 from a trusted softphone and "press 2 to make a new call"
When I dial a ten digit number xxxxxxxxxx, it goes thru (google voice on SP1) OK.
When I dial *67xxxxxxxxxx, auto attendant says "invalid"
Can the auto attendant be configured to accept star codes?

OBi devices only process star codes from phones attached to a phone port. You can modify the config to send a star code to the provider and this will work with some providers, but AFAIK GV isn't one of them.

When I pickup the phone and dial *67xxxxxxxxxx for example, it goes thru (GV on SP1) no problem. Doesn't this mean that GV can accept star codes?

The star code goes to the OBi first,
and is acted upon, then deleted from the dial string.
It is never sent out to GV.
OBi Attendant does not have this ability.
