I have set up a new Obihai 1022 The issue Backing Off : TCP connection to 125.195.125.74 failed. using it on Google voice. I copied the setup for a working Obihai 1022. I can other Obihai devices and it works.

I'm having the same problem. I've contacted support but they won't help me because I bought the phone on Ebay.
Also, I can access and type in the "expert Configuration" section.

Try changing your DNS to point at Google's public DNS servers (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4).

If you notice, the ip address you both posted is the reverse of what it should be. Do a DNS lookup on that address and it will come back as being in Asia. Does that seem right? Unlikely.

Whereas, if you do a DNS lookup on the reverse of that ip address you posted it comes back to a Google server.

Edit: I assume you are both running the latest firmware? If not, try that first. I don't own an OBi1022 so I can't tell you what it is.

Any reason it isn't the 5-1-11-4983EX version dated July 2019 as available from http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=9.0
