OBitalk as SIP extension off Panasonic PBX

New User Here. I got my OBi508 setup and registered with my pbx no issues. I found where to change my settings for incoming calls to only go to the one port I have setup for each extension as well.

If anyone has used these units in this way and has any other pointers pleas feel free to make suggestions.

I'm looking for information on the out ward dialing plan. I only want to use this device as analog handoff for SIP extensions from my PBX (Panasonic KX-NS700). I would like them to be able to dial other pbx extensions (3 digit) and 9 + (7 or 11 digit phone numbers). 9 is the PBX trunk access code. Basicaly I only want calls to go through my PBX. My PBX will handle all of the routing.

Any help is appreciated.

Neil

I'm still having problems understanding the Digit map. I want this real simple. I dial digits - it sends it to the pbx - pbx decides what to do with it. Each phone port has it's own SP profile and only needs to use that for outbound calls.

Again I want to be able to dial 3 digits for internal calls, 9 + (7 digit local numbers or 11 digit long distance numbers)

If the PBX is doing all the dialled number validation and all the routeing then the OBi's configuration can be really simple.

(xx.) as the DigitMap
spn as the PhonePort OutBoundCallRoute.  n in spn is the SP to be used.

So after much playing this is what I find as working best. Is there anything I can add, change, or simplify to make this better?
