OBI 202 & Google Voice Not Working... Temp Fix

I'm using two different obihai at two different locations for our retail store phone numbers. within the last 48 hours we no longer receive calls or even see that we have missed calls. I can't call out and when the phone does ring it doesn't connect. The issue is 100% OBI. When I make a call to my GV phone it goes to a generic non-google voice voicemail. I have reset the boxes, re-synced the accounts and NOTHING. So I removed my account from OBI and now when I call I get my GV voicemail. From the process of elimination this shows the OBI is somehow not properly handing off the call.

**The temporary solution** is to delete your google voice account from obitalk.com. Then login to GV and navigate to "classic GV".  From here look at your phones you are forwarding your calls to, delete all the OBITalk devices. I somehow had two. Log back into Obitalk and reconfigure your Google voice account. You should only have (1) Obitalk per account. It was trying to forward to the same obibox twice. Sorry if this is a shit explanation I just wanted to post something quick.

Devices: OBI202 & OBI501
Configured with Google Voice (two completely separate accounts)
ISPs: Verizon & Comcast (respectively)
OBIbox user for 6+ years.

This is why I would not use GV for any business. Yes, it works, but when it doesn't, it puts a business at a big disadvantage.

It is hard enough getting support for an Obi (less when using the forums) but then add Google (with less support) and the mix gets worse.

I wonder if your issues had to do with what appears to be a GV connection issue the past day or so. On my Obi1062 I saw the Google line had a connection error while the 5 SIP connections were up and running.

I haven't check all the other issues, but this was the only one I couldn't live with. Hope this helps others that have this issue.
