Table of Dial Tone / Ringback Tone / Busy Tone etc. Settings for All Countries?

(1/2) > >>

twillkickers:
Is there a table out there somewhere that shows the values to enter into the Dial Tone / Ringback Tone / Busy Tone fields on the Obi's settings to replicate the tones from various countries/networks? Would be fun to experiment with dial tones and such. Also, what is the syntax of the number? Right now, my busy tone is set to 480-18,620-18;10;(.5+.5)

What does each number in that formula mean? Thanks for the advice!

Use a search engine to look for the tone sequences.

See page 163 onwards of https://www.obitalk.com/info/documents/admin_guide/OBiDeviceAdminGuide.pdf for an explanation of the numbers.

I'm gonna butt in on this thread here a bit...I'm looking to have my handsets ring in a UK tone.

I found this somewhere searching for tone sequences and it seems to have what I'm looking for, but I don't know what to do with the info I found.

1. Didn't you find http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=8434.msg55352#msg55352 ?

2.  I pointed the OP to page 163 in the Admin Guide that I linked to.  You can use that too if you find the durations as well as the tone frequencies.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I see the link you posted. If I import that configuration file would it overwrite what I have now?

In a way its a testament to how reliable my oBi device is that I set it up now over 2 years ago and never have had to mess with it in all this time so I don't want to change any of the config I did back then just for something as silly as a ringtone.
