Looking for cheap VOIP service with minimal features.

My new job requires that I have a home phone dedicated to my work that has no other features except for long distance calling. So basically I'm not looking for any fancy features or anything like that, I simply need to be able to be reached from any sort of phone (cell phone, land lines, etc).

Also, if I can talk on skype without audio quality issues, is this any indication of how well VOIP would work on my connection as well?

MagicJack Plus almost seems to good to be true. It's only $40 a year. Just wanted to get opinions here.

I have very similar requirements and went with 1-VoIP residential line. Just under $9/mo which includes 500 minutes in North America. They also have a $17/mo rate with unlimited minutes.
