registration not required and connect failed no response is what i get when setting up the obi200 and i'm pretty sure it's the Additional Terms of Service page not loading that's causing the problem. i disabled the ad blockers but that doesnt work. please help, i'm trying to speed scroll all the way to the bottom on the Additional Terms of Service page to see if i can rule out that problem.

SteveInWA:
Which web browser are you using?

Try Google Chrome Browser in "Incognito" mode (open the browser, then press Ctrl-Shift-N, and an Incognito browsing window will open).

hey steve, your solution doesn't work.

SteveInWA:
I am fairly certain that you are blocking something from Google.  The most likely culprits are blocking cookies, or running a javascript blocker, or some upstream thing (firewall/content filter) that is blocking something.

You must not block any cookies from Google, anywhere in the path from your PC to your ISP.

Try this:  open an incognito window, as I explained earlier.  Sign into the one, and only one Gmail account (you are using a consumer Gmail account, right?

Go here:  https://voice.google.com/settings.  Do you see the Google Voice number you wish to use?  Are you currently located within the USA?  If you do see the number, then close (X) the settings and go to the calls page.  Try making a call on your PC (over the Internet).  Does that work?  IF you had not already accepted the terms of use, then this won't work and you don't have a Google Voice number, and you can't use Google Voice with an OBiTALK device.

i live in san francisco and i do have a gmail account. making calls using the google voice (web) works. but it only shows one device: web. trying to register obi as the second device in google voice settings don't work. i have yet to check out if blocking cookies or running javascript blocker is the culprit.
