I have used Obi 200 with google voice about 2 years ago. I stopped using it until now. I have updated the firmware along with resetting to factory defaults and then following instructions on web portal to link to my google voice account. On the web portal it says connected under the google voice SP. I cannot make or receive calls on my OBI. I get dial tone but that is it. I have even put my OBI on a DMZ with its own public IP to ensure it wasn't a firewall issue.

I also tried removing the 3rd party access to OBI from google and letting the setup process re-add it.

The only thing I haven't tried was using a different google account.

Any ideas? TIA

Not sure what you are saying about trying to use a different google acct.  You need to use the acct you have associated with your GV #.
go to https://www.google.com/voice/
click on settings
look at the phones tab
do you see your OBi listed there, and is the box checked?

Sorry if I wasnt clear.

I have my OBI 200 associated with google voice as i follow thought the prompts to setup.

Under SP1 it says Google Voice Connected.

I get dial tone. If I attempt to make a call it goes silent without an error msg. On Voice.google.com I do not see any attempt to make the outbound call in the history.

If i try and receive a call it does not ring.

I am not sure how to fix this. I have tried starting fresh by resetting to factory default.

No I think that is the problem. I do not see Obitalk in the voice.google.com settings. Just "Web" and my linked number.

When I goto https://myaccount.google.com/permissions I see ObiTalk has permisson to access to "Google Hangouts" as a third party app and to sign in.

It seems that Obitalk.com is not provisioning my google voice account properly.

Thanks for the link. I went though all the steps and still didn't work (using google chrome).

I then tried the instructions using incognito Mode in google chrome and still didn't work

Lastly I used Microsoft Edge browser following these steps and it WORKED. Now Obitalk shows up in my voice.google.com settings.

I was surprised that something in the Google Chrome browser was blocking the setup process. Hope this is helpful to someone else

Nobody else has reported that issue (works in Edge but not in Google Chrome).  It's likely that you have one or more extensions in Chrome that are blocking something required to work with Google Voice.

General note:  do not block WebRTC.  Do not block javascript.  Do not block any Google cookies.
