Hello,
Hopefully somebody can shed some light on the issues I am having.
First Question, is the OBi504vs compatible for use with google voice currently here in 2020?
I am currently running firmware 4.0.5 (Build: 5980) with hardware version 1.3 on the 504.  Is that the most current firmware?
I am trying to use the OBi504vs with google voice.  I do all the setup procedures through my OBiTALK account.  Once completed, it show "Google Voice" "Connected" under SP1, but I cannot call out or receive calls on the phone connected to phone port 1 on the 504.  The google voice account is assigned to phone port 1.  Once I log into my google voice account, under security, third party apps with account access, Google Voice / OBiTalk has access to google hangouts is displayed.  Also Google Voice / OBiTalk Signs in with Google.
The one thing that may be the cause of my issue, under settings in my google voice account, under my devices, the only this that is displayed is web.  I am assuming that there should be something there for OBi, but there is nothing but "Web".
Is that the issue, the only device displayed is "Web"?  If yes, what do I need to do to get OBi to display there?  Are there other preferences I need to check in my Google accounts?
I have added, deleted, reset to default numerous times, which has yielded the same results.
I have done all this stuff: https://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=13868.msg89076#msg89076
and no help.
Thanks.

Although the OBi 508 product can use Google Voice, it is not recommended nor supported for business use.

Using multiple Google Voice numbers for one business violates Google's Terms of Use, and any sort of call center, telesales, or other activity involving a high volume of outbound calls may result in Google suspending the service and shutting down the phone number(s).

Now that Google offers a paid, business-class option for G Suite customers, It's a safe bet that they will increase enforcement of this policy.

I recommend using a different, paid ITSP with the 508.

Although the answer above appears to be spam, at least it's accurate.
