Owner of OBI 202 since October, 2012. Despite having minor nuisances over the years regarding
Google Voice implementation, okay it was painful:)), this thing was/is running like a rock unti 48 hrs ago. It's missing the two "phone line" lights and therefore I am unable to make a call with my "landline", but Google Voice
works fine - am able to use as usual.

As the subject line shows, I'm getting this error:

Register Failed: 401 Unauthorized (server=72.9.149.69:5010; retry in 113s).

I have service with Anveo, and on their website it indicates I'm "offline".

Also getting a 407 error code when calling out. Authentication???

Some initial steps I've taken was to backup my config file and am ready to take the plunge and do a factory reset on the OBI. But, before I do so, would like some sage solution advice. Like a step-by-step to getting back online with my "landline' through Anveo

Anyway, take care all. It's been a blast the last 8-ish years, although haven't been here that often
as I had nothing really to bitch about, and getting advice from me would be ill-advised:)

I don't know anything about Anveo, but have you asked THEM what the problem might be?

Also there are many web entries for "anveo 401"

You might first try re-provisioning the Anveo connection and re-enter the credentials, rather than a reset of the Obi.

Solved. Anveo said to re-provision. Thx for your input.

Have to say, ObiTalk has made it much easier to re-configure the box. Google Voice is a snap.
Won't ever entrust my communications to Google, alone, though.
