lost connection

I LOST MY CONNECTION TO MY PHONE. Outgoing calls say " the number you called has not received a response from your service provider" ,,, should i clear all settings on obitalk and reinstall or do you guys have an idea of what is going all. I do not want to get a new assigned phone number. I have had it for a long time. thanks for your help ,,bws
