Using syslog to get caller id name and number from the OBi110

<< < (5/5)

MRTT:
Does anyone know if incoming caller id is logged to syslog now with the 3/15/2012 firmware update?

If nobody pipes up, I guess I'll find out and let everyone know.

MRTT,

If it helps any, with the current firmware 1.3.0 (Build: 2690), I just tried it and received the incoming caller id in syslog.  I masked the telephone number and IP with x's... otherwise, this is what I got:

Code:

<7> [SLIC] CID to deliver: '' 1555xxxxxxx    192.168.x.x     21/03 10:23:58.953

Hope it helps.

Thanks pc44, now I can upgrade without wrecking my callerid script.
