BT dongles for 1022

I have been trying to find on Amazon the OEM BT dongle for the OBi 1022 to no avail. Can I use a generic BT dongle for the 1022 or am I locked to on the OEM dongle?

You need the Obihai branded dongle. Others will not work. Dongles require drivers. The firmware in OBi ATAs and Obiphones has a driver for only the OBiBT. There is no way to install a driver for a different BT dongle.

You can buy a 2182 for $68, which has a built-in BT adapter. If you want, calls can be routed from the 1022 to the 2182 and out BT.
