Has anyone used an obline with a remote phone activated PDU? I am interested in the following use case:
Interested in rebooting a router remotely with a phone call, when the network is down. The Obihi would be plugged into this network, thus unreachable via the net.
a few questions:
- will a phone call from a POTS ring through to the PDU if the network is down?
- if using an obihi with two ports, one with a regular phone and one the PDU and the regular phone being the default, can the non default line be specified at call time?
- can the number of rings before the answering machine picks up be specified
Thanks all for your time and thoughts

1. Yes. POTS to a phone port is not dependent on a working LAN connection.
2. The OBi 202 can route to either or both phone ports depending on the calling number. Its Auto Attendant can be configured to ring either or both of the phone ports.
3. OBis do not have answering machines. The time delay before the AutoAttendant picks up is configurable.
