Anyone know of a wireless headset that works reliably with the OBi2182? And is a bluetooth headset still supported?
I'm a total noob when it comes to headsets. Any info greatly appreciated.
You're in luck, since I'm the headset nerd.
The phone supports hardwired 3.5mm analog headsets, RJ-9 hardwired or DECT 6.0 headsets, and Bluetooth headsets. Pick your poison.
Any mainstream Bluetooth headset designed for mobile phones should work. The audio quality and range aren't great, but they're inexpensive. I'd start with that.
Professional-class headsets connect to the RJ-9 headset jack on the underside of the phone. Desk workers typically use ones that are simply hardwired to an amplifier/base. The more expensive version is the DECT 6.0 headset, which will work for several hundred yards and have very high quality audio.
I use GN/Jabra DECT headsets. Here's a good article comparing DECT with Bluetooth headsets; Jabra makes both.

I have the mono version this Jabra headset attached to one of my two 2182s:
