I tried about 30 times over a week to get this to work and along with many of you never got a connection. I tried many of the tips suggested and no joy, but I saw an Amazon review that he changed his browser from Chrome to something else and it worked. So I logged in on MS Edge and lo and behold its there (though GV was not added). Short step (without phone to set it up).

Now I now enough about tech to know that connecting is a server side thing and browser should not have made a difference. My only two explanations to this are:

1) It was coincidence (and has nothing to do with the browser)
2) Some weird caching thing in Chrome where it was showing me an old cached dashboard when the device had connected while it had actually connected the device.

YMMV of course, but it's a relatively simple and easy thing to try.
