Hi I am using obi200

sp1  freephoneline
sp2  gooogle voice

My current sp1 X_InboundCallRoute

{(MLenny):sp2(13475147296)},{(MBan):},{>16041234567:ph}

with reference to
https://forums.redflagdeals.com/freephoneline-woes-how-stop-unsolisited-unknown-calls-1837363/2/

I revised to

{ph,sp1(1877xxxxxxx@tollfree.alcazarnetworks.com;ui=$1)},{(MLenny):sp2(13475147296)},{(MBan):},{>16041234567:ph}

but still cannot get Nomorobo to work

Please help and thank you.

What does the call history show?

The way you coded the inbound route doesn't make sense. Processing moves left to right. Your 1st rule is unconditional and will always route the call, so MLenny and MBan will never be reached. I think it should be:
{(MLenny):sp2(13475147296)},{(MBan):},{>16041234567:ph,sp1(18776593620@tollfree.alcazarnetworks.com;ui=$1)}

This will not fix your problem.

Thank you Robert for your reply

using

{(MLenny):sp2(13475147296)},{(MBan):},{>16041234567:ph,sp1(18776593620@tollfree.alcazarnetworks.com;ui=$1)}

Nomorobo test confirmed my phone is protected

However when I test it with my cell phone, the landphone still ring.

{(MLenny):sp2(13475147296)},{(MBan):},{>16041234567:ph,sp1(18776593620@tollfree.alcazarnetworks.com;ui=604--cell---)}

attach obi200 call history

Nomorobo toll free number to ring is busy.

That is how NoMoRobo works. When a legitimate CallerID is sent to NoMoRobo, they return a Busy and your OBi phone continues to ring. When a spammer CallerID is sent, NoMoRobo will block the call by answering it.

FYI a long time ago NoMoRobo blocked some legit calls and I stopped using them. Recently I was getting so many spam calls I decided to try them again, hoping they cleaned up their database. They did it again blocking a very important call. I was remodeling my house and my contractor called me with his cell and NoMoRobo blocked him. Luckily I have calls display on my TV and I saw the call come in and immediately called him back. I will never use NoMoRobo again.

Oh given your case with nomorobo,  I will not use it too.

Thank you for the heads up.

Azrobert, Re: Displaying CallerID.  Have you come up with a scheme or interface device to route the CallerID info into the TV video stream or was this provided by your cable supplier?
