Difficult time with setting up Google voice on OBi200 device

I can't even get Google Voice to complete the setup on a brand new OBI 200 (with firmware upgrade).
When attempting to configure, it completes with Connect Failed: 403 forbidden, which doesn't really provide any hints as to how to solve the problem.
"Pinchvalve" was spamming the forum in multiple posts with an inaccurate claim that Google Voice doesn't work on OBiTALK devices. That's simply untrue.
Now, to your problem. You said "with firmware upgrade". Pick up the phone plugged into the OBi 200 and punch in ***0 then 1# and write down the numbers it reads out. What does it say? The current version is 3.2.2.8680. Previous versions will not work with Google Voice.
Hang up, then pick up the phone and call **9 222 222 222. This is the echo test. Do you hear your voice played back to you?
