Someone stole one of my GV numbers

@SteveInWA

I have had a certain GV number for a long time and noticed it was still programmed into my OBi200 on SP2 and the status says Connected. So I call my main Callcentric number and it's still working. I even have 2-way audio. Ok, if that works, let's try calling it from another phone. Well, some woman answers, and I ask where she is and won't tell me. So, if this number is still working on my GV account, how come some other person picks up on the call and doesn't ring my OBi200?

Hi Grant:

Using a desktop/laptop computer's web browser, sign into the correct Gmail account that holds the Google Voice number in question and go to the Google Voice settings page:  https://voice.google.com/u/0/settings

Do you see the Google Voice phone number at the top of the page?  If not, then either the number was reclaimed and issued to somebody else, or you're signed into the wrong Google account.

Assuming you found it, then scroll down to the devices and linked numbers sections.  Are there any devices or numbers listed, that you no longer control (abandoned, canceled service)?  If so, that's your problem.  Delete all devices or linked numbers you no longer use.

After I logged into that Gmail address, I didn't see any links to my GV settings. I guess I must have lost that number to someone else. I can't see why my OBi200 shows Connected and I can still call out.

You should delete that SP configuration.
