Apparently one run-through of the reset process did not work. When I held the reset button for longer than 30 seconds, it seemed the OBI ran through a few resets (red light would come on, then back to green, then red, green, etc.) and now I am up and running!
A brief depression of the reset button simply reboots the OBi.
An extended depression of the reset button forces the OBi back to factory defaults.
