I tried  to setup the SP2 with Vitelity. I used the  OBiTALK website configuration wizard to add Vitelity. I put in my userid and password that I use to login to Vitelity website. I always get "Register Failed: 403". Please help! Thanks!

compy168,

This assumes you are not using Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B with SP1.

To add Vitelity on SP2, set all options to default on:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> (General, SIP, and RTP)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service

Then change only the following:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> ProxyServer : [the Vitelity proxy server name or IP address]

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_ServProvProfile : B

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthUserName : [your Vitelity username]

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthPassword : [your Vitelity password]

compy168,

If you want to set everything up manually (SP1 = Google Voice / SP2 = Vitelity):

System Management -> Device Update -> Reset Configuration

System Management -> Network Settings -> LocalTimeZone : [your local time zone]

System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> Method : Disabled

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile A -> General -> SignalingProtocol : Google Voice

Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> AuthUserName : [your Google Voice username]

Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> AuthPassword : [your Google Voice password]

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> ProxyServer : [the Vitelity proxy server name or IP address]

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_ServProvProfile : B

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthUserName : [your Vitelity username]

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthPassword : [your Vitelity password]

Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> PrimaryLine : [your choice]

RonR, thank you very much. I got it to work now.  Cheesy
When I tried to make a call with **2 xxx-xxxx, by using SP2, there's no caller id shown on the receiving side. Any advise?

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> CallerIDName

Try setting:

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> CallerIDName

Still "Unknown" on the receiving side after I put my DID# in CallerIDName. Undecided

Vitelity would be in the best position to tell you why it's not going through.

it was a problem with my linksys wrt54gx router when setting it up with callcentric.
vitelity and google voice setup was fine with the above router.

have moved to a tomato based e2000 and things are good now.

Don't mean to highjack your post, but same problem with my new obi110 and callcentric.
Can't be down that long.
Switched back to pap 2 and all is good.

OBI is going to be returned.
