I setup my obitalk in my DMZ but I wanted to know how the device is affected with the web interface / password entry?

Leaving the default setup with default passwowrds okay or is that dangerous?

It shouldn't be necessary to set your router's DMZ to point to the OBi.

It's always a good idea to set private passwords.

What ports then are required for google voice operation? I've prefer not to have NAT issue's.

Does DMZ do any harm? Can the OBI be hacked?

RonR

DMZ would help any hacker's attempts, but I doubt there's a whole lot of OBi hacking going on.  Unless you're having problems, I'd run without out.

The ports used by the OBi aren't well documented, but most users aren't finding a need to forward any.
