Switched to Cable ISP, the ringing sound contiues after someone answers my call
NotTheDude:
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Can someone give me a direction to go in here?
RonR:
Have you tried connecting the OBi directly to your cable modem temporarily to eliminate your router as the source of the problem? Don't forget to reboot both the modem and the OBi after making the connection.
RevKev:
In Google Voice settings - Phones - Mobile - Edit - Show advanced settings - Voicemail Access - Click "No". This will allow you to call your GV number from your cell phone.
(I know, not your "real" problem, but hey)

Thanks, but yes I always try this step first whenever I have any problems with any internet-based tech.

I have always had my GV number forwarded to my cell phone, the trouble is that I seldom use my cell phone and to save money, have a cheap pre-paid phone. So using it as my "all-day-everday" phone, like I do my home phone, is out of the question at 10 cents per minute.
Thanks for trying to help though. I really do appreciate it Kev.
