I have Google Voice set up on my system for testing and as a result have only made a few test calls, however call quality seemed good. That said, your Google Voice account now has a setting [check box] to disable the recording of calls. The issue of call recordings is not related to the Obi and has been well documented many times on the web. I have the check box set to disabled on my account but as I said have only made a few Google Voice calls of no significant length so can't say whether the recording disable feature actually works.
