Complicated reset for obi100 after power loss?

My question is I plan to buy an OBI100 for my parents who are living in another state. The area that they live in has frequent short power outage.

If I install an OBI100 for them, how complicated it is to reset the device when the power is back up? They are computer illiterate and hardly know how to operate a microwave. Will the OBI100 reset itself if the computer modem is back up?

If their power outages are mostly momentary, you may want to consider getting a battery backup for their modem/router/obi. The size of the battery - and the cost - depends on the amount of time you want the devices to run when the power is out.
