Export of Obi data, particularly call history

I find the current call history very difficult to view / work with.
So, a very much improved listing would go a long way.
Maybe the ability to eliminate distracting / less useful items would help reduce the clutter.
Maybe something more along the lines of an Excel spreadsheet.

I would like to have a much longer, readable and manipulable call history.
I expect such a desire might well apply to other Obi data.
If only for backup / reference / re-load.

I would like most all data to be exportable, in a common and simple format.
Such as would be useful for the various chunks of data.

I would also like to suggest an ability to email a configurable number of call history entries.
That way, users would have a way to accumulate long term call history.
Say, 50 or 200 or whatever calls at a time.

Being able to sort on various parameters would be nice/
I think of that as more for some external software.
But, a limited version / capability would be really nice.

nekote,

This is easily done. Press the 'Save All' button on the call history, then save it as an XML file. Simply open the file in excel and you will see nice neat columns of information. Process this information any way you like.

TYVM for pointing out "Save" button.

Now for XML.

I have old Excel 2000 that doesn't yet do .xml ;
Google Drive spreadsheet will do ImportXML("url";"mask")
but "mask" of "/*" didn't do the trick.

Having trouble locating simple enough XML import info so I can get into gear.

Most anything is likely to help.

This might do it. I have not tried it. Try the spreadsheet app.

Click any entry (but not a Remove button) of the call history report on your OBi call history web page. Ctrl+A Ctrl+C.

Paste into a spreadsheet or something else.

nekote,

Libre Office not really the solution. I just tried it. It is not as straight forward as excel.

Shale: ctrl A, C, V trick works, but is pretty clumsy, error prone and manual.
Not something for ongoing use without a lot of work.

Work that has mostly already been done by the XML.
If I could figure out how to unlock / use it.

Seems I'm basically looking for everything in its own separate (Excel / spreadsheet) column.
Call Number | Terminal name | Direction | Peer Name | Peer Number | New Call Time | Call Connected Time | End Call Time | ...

For one thing, I'm interested in elapsed time of the call, either from first ring or from actual answer.
End time not so appealing - duration much more usable for me.
