There needs to be a better way

I've read several of the earlier posts and have tried to resolve my issue using previous advice.

I'm trying to configure my Obi110 for Google Voice in SIP1 and CallCentric (for e911) in SIP 2.  I've manually configured my device using these settings:

System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> ITSP Provisioning -> Method : Disabled
System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> OBiTALK Provisioning -> Method : Disabled

Manually configuring Google Voice on SP1 is very easy:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile A -> General -> Name : Google Voice
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile A -> General -> SignalingProtocol : Google Voice
Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> AuthUserName : (Google Voice username)
Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> AuthPassword : (Google Voice password)
Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_SkipCallScreening : (checked)
Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> PrimaryLine : SP1 Service

Manually configuring a SIP provider such as Callcentric on SP2 is no harder:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> General -> Name : (provider name)
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> ProxyServer : (proxy server)
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> OutboundProxy : (proxy server)   (if an outbound proxy is used)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_ServProvProfile : B
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthUserName : (sip username)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthPassword : (sip password)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> CallerIDName : (callerid name)

I also configured this:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> General -> DigitMap:

([3469]11|**275*xx.|1xxxxxxxxxx|<1>[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|<1aaa>[2-9]xxxxxx|011xx.|(Mipd)|[^*#]@@.'@'@@.)

where aaa is your local area code.
Google Voice is working properly, but when I test Callcentric by calling 217771234567, I get a message that says, "We could not complete your call. Please try again." If I omit the "2" in that previous number, I get a busy signal; an earlier post pointed out that I needed to add the 2.

I also tried 411 and the SIP test broker numbers. Neither works.

Last, I tried connecting the OBi directly to my modem. Nothing there, either.

Any advice on where I should turn next?

Unless you have set up something special (and I've missed it), you should be dialing **217771234567.  The **2 is the default way to telling the OBi to place the call using SP2.

If that doesn't work, check whether SP2 shows as registered.  Also, check whether incoming calls work.  If you don't have a DID with them, call into a SIPBroker gateway (from another phone) and dial *462, followed by your CC 1777 number.

For troubleshooting, could you also put the values in Phone -> Digimap and Phone -> OutboundCallRoute

I'm such a dope.  I didn't realize that I needed the ** before the 2.  Test # went through fine once I added the asterisks!

Thanks so much for your help!

One last thing: does this mean that I need to dial **2911 when making a 911 call or does it automatically redirect to SIP2 when dialing 911?

ProfTech

If you made the change Ron indicated in his post

Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> OutboundCallRoute:

{([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp},{(<#:>):li},{911:sp2},{**0:aa},{***:aa2},{(<**1:>(Msp1)):sp1},
{(<**2:>(Msp2)):sp2},{(<**8:>(Mli)):li},{(<**9:>(Mpp)):pp},{(Mpli):pli}

Then 911 will be automatically sent to Callcentric
