Random CID behavior on LINE

Stewart: Adding a DLS filter to the line made no difference. Can you suggest possible changes to the ring detection parameters?

I called AT&T and told them about the problem. They told me that if any device recognizes the CID then the problem must be with the devices that don't. The tech told me that they had never heard of a situation in which the CID was recognized by some devices but not others due to noise or other problems on the line. I told them that I thought it very odd that my old Bellsouth CID device and the OBi should both have a problem at the same time, just by coincidence.

When you were setting RingDelay to larger values, were you verifying that the values you were setting were actually displayed in the OBi itself and were still in the OBi itself after several failed tests?
FreeSpeech:
Yes, I did check and I've rerun the experiment and I'm quite sure that the parameter was set properly.
