911 Mapping
RonR:
For 911 through SP2 (Anveo), see Reply #8
Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> PrimaryLine selects the default trunk for outgoing calls.
You can select an alternate trunk when dialing with a prefix:
**1 -> SP1
**2 -> SP2
**8 -> LINE
**9 -> OBiTALK

I just found that and have already tried it out. It rang through to my cell phone because I have money in my account for the 911 service. Thanks so much for your help because otherwise I would have been lost. I'll probably be back more tomorrow for help on the 911 setup.

Big thanks to RonR for all the help. I got the OK from my local 911 to test my system and it worked as planned. The only thing I noticed was a longer delay between dialing and the answer on their end. As a matter of fact I wasn't sure the call had gone through because I heard nothing until the ring started.

The OBi should initiate the call to Anveo two seconds after you complete dialing 911. You can eliminate that two seconds by dialing 911#. After that, it's out of your control.

Could you point me to the correct website for this Aveno $0.80/mo e911 service?
