OBI 100 background noise

New here finally got this thing to work with google voice.  As soon as a call connects I start getting these beeps and buzzing noise.  Any suggestions?

Do you have the same problem if you place the call using your computer and the Gmail web page?

BK63:
Yeah the web site calls the home phone then it rings my cell, still hear that noise.  Lot of beeps and buzzing.

RonR:
Then it must be a problem with Google Voice if it occurs without the OBi being in the loop.

It turned out that every time I lifted the home phone I had the cell in my other hand.  I finally noticed, (duh) that when I moved the cell 5 feet away from the home phone all noise went away.  I have to say I'm glad this works and sounds completely clear now.  First time with an ip setup.  So tired of my home phone bundle and overpaying because I had dsl.  Finally got rid of that and was not held hostage by the home phone anymore.  Thanks.
