iNum Calling Through Google Voice

(1/2) > >>

RonR:
Google Voice now supports free calling to iNum global telephone numbers (8835100xxxxxxxx).

To be able to dial iNum telephone numbers through Google Voice, simply add the following two rules to your Google Voice DigitMap:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile x -> General -> DigitMap : (...|<8835100>xxxxxxxx|8835100xxxxxxxx|...)

where x is typically A for SP1 or B for SP2.

iNum global telephone numbers can then be called by dialing either the whole iNum number (8835100xxxxxxxx) or just the last eight digits.

The following iNum test numbers are available:

883510000000091 : Echo test
883510000000092 : DTMF test
883510000000093 : CallerID test

finally!!!! yey!

Ron,
Thanks for letting us know,
I'm waiting for them to allow iNum forwarding phones.

mykmayk:
yep, now if [or when] GV allows forwarding to iNum and/or to SIP addresses, those would be awesome

Bad news. Google has begun charging 3 cents a minute for iNum calls.

HINT: Every other iNum provider still terminates iNum calls for free.
