Hello:

I have a VoIP.ms account successfully setup on my OBi 110 (SP1) but I cannot seem to find instructions on how to setup my Anveo account.

Edit: When I dial **2514592nnnn I get the following error msg: "The number you have dialed has not received a response from the service provider."

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Assuming you want to configure it on SP2/ITSPB:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> General -> Name : Anveo
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> ProxyServer : sip.anveo.com
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> ProxyServerPort : 5010

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_ServProvProfile : B
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthUserName : (sip username)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthPassword : (sip password)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> URI : (Default checked)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> CallerIDName : (callerid name)

Not having any luck.

Maybe its my username & password.

Anveo gave me:
Account number: 36571nnnnn
SIP URI: 36571nnnnn-sbhuarbz2oxxxxxx@sip.anveo.com:5010

and I have my password (abababa) to enter my anveo account through their website.

My OBi setup, now, is:

Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_ServProvProfile : B
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthUserName : 36571nnnnn
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthPassword : abababa
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> URI : (Default checked)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> CallerIDName : Rob

Is this correct?

EDIT: Just tried dialing again and got error msg reason: 407

EDIT 2: It works!!! I was not using the correct password - anveo generates one for you, I found it and now it works!

Thanks.

What you have listed as SIP URI is for sending calls into the system from another DID provider.  It should not be entered in the OBi.

On the Anveo site, go to Account Preferences, SIP Device Registration.  Use the Username and Password that you see there, for AuthUserName and AuthPassword in the OBi.

Once you log into your anveo account,

SIP Status (delayed):Details

Click on details and you see your "Sip Registration Details", which includes the correct SIP password to use for sip registration.  The password is NOT the one you use to login into your account!

Also, use the following procedure to setup your OBi account Registration:

QuoteBrowse to Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> General and enable X_SymmetricRTPEnable.  Also, given that Anveo use DNS SRV, it's nonsensical to explicitly specify their proxy server host and port. Under Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP, just set ProxyServer to "anveo.com", and check Default for everything from ProxyServerPort through OutboundProxyPort. Enable X_DnsSrvAutoPrefix and  X_ProxyServerRedundancy.
