Hi all,

Is it possible to set up my AT&T 993 2 Line phone with 2 OBi110's (lines 1 and 2) with the first one being forwarded on busy to the second without call waiting turning on?

Thanks!

Nick

Incoming calls on the SP1 Service of OBi #1 will ring OBi #1 (Line 1) first and roll over to OBi #2 (Line 2) if Line 1 is busy.

Outgoing calls from either OBi will go out the SP1 Service of OBi #1.

OBi #1 -> Line 1 (OBiTALK number : 200123456)

Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> CallForwardOnBusyEnable : (checked)

Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> CallForwardOnBusyNumber : PP(ob200654321)

Voice Services -> OBiTALK Service -> InboundCallRoute : {200654321>(Msp1):sp1},{ph}

Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> CallWaitingEnable : (unchecked)

Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> PrimaryLine : SP1 Service

OBi #2 -> Line 2 (OBiTALK number : 200654321)

Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> CallWaitingEnable : (unchecked)

Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> DigitMap:

([1-9]x?*(Mpli)|[1-9]|[1-9][0-9]|911|**0|***|#|**1(Msp1)|**2(Msp2)|**8(Mli)|**9(Mpp)|<2*>(Mpli))

Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> PrimaryLine : SP1 Service

User Settings -> Speed Dials -> 2 : PP(ob200123456)

Hello,

I am trying to do exactly the same thing, but I seem to be having trouble.  When you say "PP(ob200654321)" what do I actually put into the settings?  I substituted the numbers after the "ob" for my actual OBI No...

Also, I noticed that we are setting speed dial 2 on the second of the obi's to dial the first OBI - which is fine, however I am running two sets of two OBI's - for example, two locations w/ two, 2-line systems at each.  What will I need to change at the second location in order to make this configuration work?

Another oddity... I just noticed that the OBI No., Mac and serial number of one of my devices is different when in the dashboard or looking at the sticker on the actual OBI or the box it came in... Hmmm....

**I should also mention that I have a 7-digit number substituted for 9-1-1 and my "Phone OutboundCallRoute" is set to {(<911:9497706011>):sp1},{(<#:>):li},{**0:aa},{***:aa2},{(Mpli):pli},{(<**1:>(Msp1)):sp1},{(<**2:>(Msp2)):sp2},{(<**8:>(Mli)):li},{(<**9:>(Mpp)):pp}

That's correct.  You replace 200123456 and 200654321 with your actual OBiTALK numbers.

You can use any Speed Dial.  It simply has to match the bolded number in the following DigitMap:

Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> DigitMap:

([1-9]x?*(Mpli)|[1-9]|[1-9][0-9]|911|**0|***|#|**1(Msp1)|**2(Msp2)|**8(Mli)|**9(Mpp)|<2*>(Mpli))

-My 2nd line / 2nd OBI gives me the error reason 404 whenever I try to dial from it (but it receives calls when you dial direct to it)

You removed a crucial part of the PHONE Port OutboundCallRoute.  I highly recommend you use the following:

Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> OutboundCallRoute:

{([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp},{(<#:>):li},{(<911:9497706011>):sp1},{**0:aa},{***:aa2},{(<**1:>(Msp1)):sp1},
{(<**2:>(Msp2)):sp2},{(<**8:>(Mli)):li},{(<**9:>(Mpp)):pp},{(Mpli):pli}

-My 2nd line / 2nd OBI's phone status light (second from the right) isn't illuminated

The PHONE Port LED is illuminated when the PrimaryLine service provider has a Connected status.  Since you don't have a service provider configured on the second OBi, the PHONE Port LED will not be iluminated.

- the busy forwarding doesn't work on the primary obi / doesn't roll over to the 2nd OBI

Are you sure you have Call Waiting disabled on the first OBi?:

Physical Interfaces -> PHONE Port -> CallWaitingEnable : (unchecked)

What happens when you are already on a call on the PHONE Port of the first OBi and a second call comes in?  Do you get a CallWaiting indication?  What is shown in the OBi Call History when this happens?
