The syntax is incorrect in all the previous examples. Try the following:
Physical Interfaces -> LINE Port -> InboundCallRoute : {(1?876xx.):},{ph}
For more information, see the OBi Device Administration Guide.
Hi RonR. I copy and pasted {(1?876xx.):},{ph} exactly like you said, but it doesn't block 876 as I just received another call from Jamaica 876 area code this morning. Perhaps I should also mention that I am using Obi 110 with a Comcast Digital Voice landline. ALL calls fro CDV are forwarded to my Google Voice number. Any suggestions? Thanks RonR!
RonR:
What does the OBi Call History show for this call?
babobi:
Where exactly can "Call History" be found? Sorry I am such a noob. Is it this?: I copy and pasted this from "Status Last 10 Calls"
Number of calls in history: 89
Call 1 03/07/2012 08:59:10
Terminal ID GoogleVoice1 PHONE1
Peer Name
Peer Number 18763932706
Direction Inbound Inbound
08:59:10 Ringing
08:59:18 End Call
Call 2 03/07/2012 08:58:49
Terminal ID GoogleVoice1 PHONE1
Peer Name
Peer Number 18763932706
Direction Inbound Inbound
08:58:49 Ringing
08:58:58 Call Connected
08:58:59 End Call
RonR:
The call isn't coming into the OBi's LINE Port. It's coming into the OBi via Google Voice (SP1). Therefore, you need:
Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute : {(1876xx.):},{ph}
babobi:
Just made the change. Ron, can I ask you what the person on the calling end (from 876) will hear when they now dial me?
And should I also change Physical Interfaces -> LINE Port -> InboundCallRoute : {(1?876xx.):},{ph} BACK the way they were originally to "ph" only?
THANK YOU RonR!
