new OBI110, 1 google voice account, outgoing calls fine, NO incoming calls
DAVEHH:
I believe my issue is gateway related. I have one from att the motorola nvg510 and I encounter all kinds of issues with network. This "advanced gateway" is very limiting in many respects.
What ports need to be opened for google voice to work on incoming calls: 5060, 5061, 3478 or which ones?
Thanks,

I have a similar issue recently. I found this on the FAQ
TCP/UDP Ports your Firewall should not block
In order for your OBi to be able to send packets w/o interruption, please allow the following ports for outgoing:
TCP: 6800, 5222, 5223
UDP: 5060, 5061, 16600 to 16998
Allow Incoming on 10000

The ports opening did not work for me. I was working just fine a few days ago. I wonder if Google has changed something?
Outbound calling is fine, inbound it rings but when answered it gets dead air on the receiver side and the caller side it gets GV voicemail message. I even changed the GV account password thinking that it would logoff any open session with google but that does not seem to help.

Here is my call record on the Obihai unit
Call 1 03/08/2012 16:28:53
Terminal ID GoogleVoice1 PHONE1
Peer Name
Peer Number 1xxxxxxxxxx
Direction Inbound Inbound
16:28:53 Ringing
16:29:14 Call Connected
16:29:18 End Call

Same exact problem here: Inbound calls to Google Voice number do not ring the attached handset but do show up in the OBI call log. The caller hears the ring back tones for 30 seconds or so and then a beep and dead air. Looking at the OBI logs for this device through the "expert interface" on the OBI site, I see the calls. Tried to call from several numbers and all behave exactly. Outbound calls work perfectly.
Phone ringer parameters are set to 20 Hz, 70 Volts, sinusoidal wave form.
Also, the OBI attendant does not come on the line for the line that is included in the trusted caller set.
