Nobody can explain the inability to log in from an Android phone ?????

Using a computer, I can log directly into my Obi via a web browser, both locally on my LAN 192.168.1.110:8110 (that is the static local IP and listening port I have set), and from outside through the internet with myddnsdomain.dyndns.org:8110.

What is making me scratch my head is the inability to duplicate the latter scenario with my Android phone. I am even using the Skyfire app which allows one to preset it to view pages in a desktop mode, as opposed to phone mode. Whenever I type the username and password, it simply rejects it by popping the username/password window back up, with the fields blank, and I cannot log in.

Does **ANYONE** out there know why this is? Has anyone else experienced the same problem?
