Hello, I am trying to setup the OBI with the french isp free, however it doesn't work

sip: freephonie.net
Port: 5060
timeout: 1800
username: phone#
Password.

"Register Failed: 500 Internal server error (server=77.72.169.129:5060; retrying)"

any idea to make that worked.

You might try configuring the OBi directly after setting:

System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> ITSP Provisioning -> Method : Disabled
System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> OBiTALK Provisioning -> Method : Disabled

Use all Default settings on SP2 / ITSP Profile B except the following:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> General -> Name : freephonie
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> ProxyServer : freephonie.net
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> RegistrationPeriod : 1800
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_ServProvProfile : B
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthUserName : (sip username)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> AuthPassword : (sip password)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> CallerIDName : (callerid name)

thank you it was actually working I had a old config in expert that needed to be removed. your response gave me the idea to check there.

now that the isp got registered, I cannot stay on the phone more than 1/2 minutes then no more sound in or out, it looks like the phone doesn't hangup but noone can hear anything.

if someone has an idea.
Thank you

You might try:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> RTP -> KeepAliveInterval : 15

Thank you, however, it is still not working, it will disconnect after around 20 seconded of talk.

OK I found the solution, I had to disable SIP ALG in the router.

Thank you
