Softphone, enable call forwarding

I am building my softphone and the next step is to enable call forwarding.  I need to find a reliable solution for this with easy-to-use applications and useful free trial sample programs. I hesitate between your product and a different one.I don't want to advertise just give an example. The other product offers many advantages over traditional ones.  Is it the same with your product or is it even better? Could you provide me with useful explanations? Thank you in advance.

Could I ask what do you envision as your goals or objectives?  What do you want the product to do?

The Obi has lots of features, but are there any other features you want besides only forwarding?  Also, who is your telephone/VOIP provider right now (e.g. Google Voice)?

A lot of questions, I know.  But if you can explain some more about what you are trying to accomplish, I'm sure someone here can address your questions.
