I'm now on my second Obi110.

One of the biggest issues I have is the drop out of audio every other second. Literally you could set a clock by it.  When you try and listen to the person making the call from the Obi the audio consistently cuts out every second.

I've changed cable modem, router, switch, phone and have the same issue.  I have 100/5 internet that I can use a RingCentral endpoint on without any problems with and without a load on the network.

If I take every other device off my network it still has the same issue.

This happens with both Google Voice and Callcentric regardless if either is set primary.

The other issue I will have is that I pick up the phone, have dailtone, make a call and just get dead air.  This issue is intermittent.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?

It's a shot in the dark, but you might try changing the OBi Ethernet port from 10 mb/s half-duplex to 100 mb/s full duplex to see if that helps:

1. Dial *** 0

2. Enter option 27 and press #

3. Press 1 to set a new value

4. Enter a value of 1 and press #

5. Press 1 to confirm/save

6. Hang up

7. Wait for the OBi to reboot
