The T.38 Fax support sounds good, but I wonder exactly how that would work.  Could you only use it with a VOIP provider that specifically supported T.38?  For example, I doubt that GV does.

The 202 sounds exciting. :)  If I did not already have two Obi devices in use, I think I'd surely buy one of these 202s, as it would perform the function of my two Obi's -- in a simpler, cleaner fashion.

Obi202 works sending faxes over Google-Voice... at least for 1 or 2 pages at a time... over 4 or 5 pages seems to be a problem... although I'm currently using it behind my WRT54G router on a poor PPPoE DSL connection. I haven't tested receiving.

ShermanObi:
To use T.38 on the OBi202, the voice over IP service must also advertise T.38 support.

For example, the Anveo Direct service supports T.38 in select countries (see link).

Question, I was reading this. Can anyone confirm that just one phone port will correctly handle both wire pairs?

Trev:
Yes the OBi202 allows you to access both lines from a single jack when using a two pair phone cord.  I was happy to discover this a few weeks ago when plugging in my 3 line phone!
