How to answer incoming calls on PSTN line?

<< < (2/2)

RonR:
When you dial only #, the PHONE Port is immediately bridged to the LINE Port, effectively bypassing the OBi.

The default LINE Port DigitMap passes 7- and 11-digit numbers, and anything else (doesn't make a lot of sense, does it?).  If your area uses 10-digit numbers, there will be a 10-second delay after the last digit is dialed before the call is initiated unless you terminate your dialing with #.

Your ATT telephone book should describe the calling conventions used in your area.
