I have an Obi110 and would ideally like to set it up so that Google Voicemail receives calls to the PSTN phone number when the connected Phone is unanswered or busy.

In order to do this, I think I have to set CallForwardUnconditionalNumber on the Physical Interfaces --> LINE tab of ObiTalk Expert Configuration to SP1(Google Voice Phone Number), which should then forward the calls back to my Obi110. Please correct me if I am wrong on this setup.

When setup in this fashion, callers to the PSTN number are presented with the Google Voice attendant, who announces that there are no new messages. I believe there is a setting to turn this automatic behavior off, but can't find it.

Any help you can provide as to how to setup the service so that Google Voicemail receives the unanswered/busy calls would be appreciated.

When the OBi calls your own Google Voice number using the Google Voice account associated with that number, Google Voice treats that as a request to check your voicemail.  You would need to set up another service (including another Google Voice account) in order to be able to forward calls to your Google Voice number.

I can get Google Voicemail to answer by forwarding all calls to my Google Voice number using SP2 (which happens to be Voip.ms in my case). However, the Caller ID does not pass through; instead, I get the Obi number displayed on my Caller ID. Is there a way to set the Obi to pass through the Caller ID provided from the PSTN line?

When Google Voicemail answers and a message is left, after the caller hangs up the line appears to stay connected.  The voicemail includes a long pause followed by the message "please hangup and try your call again".  Is there a setting I am missing whereby the call to Google Voice can be terminated automatically when the caller to the PSTN line hangs up?

In frustration, I disabled forwarding to Google Voice in an effort to revert to my original PSTN voicemail service. Is there a way to get the Obi to pass the message waiting indicator (stutter tone) from the PSTN line through to the handset connected on the Phone line?

If VoIP.ms allows CallerID spoofing, set:

Service Providers -> ITSP Profile B -> SIP -> X_SpoofCallerID : (checked)

Is there a setting I am missing whereby the call to Google Voice can be terminated automatically when the caller to the PSTN line hangs up?

You might try adjusting:

Physical Interfaces -> LINE Port -> CPCTimeThreshold

Is there a way to get the Obi to pass the message waiting indicator (stutter tone) from the PSTN line through to the handset connected on the Phone line?

You can bridge the PHONE Port to the LINE Port by dialing just #.
