Speed Dialing and SIP addresses

I want to configure xxx@xxx.xxx (where "x" represents my SIP address that I want to call) as a speed dial. I need to know what to dial for the speed dial, is it #1, etc?

Speed dials use the format 1# etc. Although, you will find that 1# is reserved for your softphone. The single digit speed dials can be useful for other uses, so I prefer to start at 10#, 11# etc.
