Yesterday the portal says our Obi110 has a firmware update available (we were already pushed the gv "backing off" fix firmware earlier this year).  Clicking "cancel" goes to the "manual" firmware download with release notes and 24 hours later there is no mention since May of any firmware update, nor in the forum section for firmware updates.

Can anyone shed any light onto what revision is being offered and where the changelog is located before updating?

Thanks!

I had some issues with the OBIBT, and this update addressed that issue. (You can see my previous posts about this issue).
THIS IS the email I got from OBI tech support:
"Hi Azouz,

We have a newer firmware that would address the issue with the OBiBT dial plan as well as the call issue on the mobile phone.
Please let us know your 9 digit OBi number so we can update the firmware.

Thanks for the info.  Third day now with no changelog though or mention of this newer version even existing in their list of manual downloads.  You'd think if it's that big of a fix, they would add it to their changelog.

EDIT: We have the 110 unit, so no BT......I do see a recent 2x series firmware but this is showing an update for the 110.

It's amazing how poorly OBi manages this process.  They agreed to post on the existing thread, generating a notification to users monitoring that thread, of updates.  Nothing there as noted, yet when one looks in the portal it says there is an update, but there isn't one.  If it's triggering the update notice for the 110 because of an update for the 202, wow.

The recent firmware update (via ***6 or OBiTALK Dashboard 'triangle' methods) fixes an issue related to voice mail notification from the Google Voice communications service.

Is this going to be made available as a download? (in this thread:  http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=9.0)

I can't believe how poorly you guys manage this process.  When I go into the OBi Dashboard (which I rarely do), it says there is an update.  Clicking on that triangle brings me to a thread that lists the most recent firmware for the 110 as 2711 on May 9th.

There is no update to the firmware thread saying there is an official update and providing the link to it - apparently the only link is the one provided by another user (sorry, but I don't click on links like that to update firmware on my devices).

I really want to support OBi, but you keep giving us reasons not to.
