Callcentric, OBI110 and SRV servers, can not get it to work!

If anyone can verify that that have their OBI110 or obi100 working with the new outbound Proxy SRV setting for callcentric then please let me know.

I thought everything was working ok but what is happening is my device intermittently reboots.  I did not know this until I downloaded and ran the Obi syslogd program and let it run.  After about 10 to 20 minutes it reboots.

Tried everything, DNS numbers, redundancy checked, not checked, ect.

DNS settings that callcentric recommends in the OBI, in the router, still reboots use SRV.

Once I put OutboundProxy to callcentric.com and remove the srv works and no reboots.

Really liked to get SRV working in the OBI if possible.  Really strange actually makes the device reboot when I use SRV.  It if drops registration than that is one thing but the device actually resets itself.

Since they are under attack I believe the SRV is suppose to be not affected so i would like to move the OBI over to that if possible.
Otherwise have figure out this VOIP.MS forward URI thingy.

Thanks for any help!

I think I found the answer in another thread:
http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=4399.0

It looks like the OBi has issue with the SRV.  I will have to go back to the callcentric.com outbound proxy server to keep the unit from resetting.  Very strange.

I figure out a way to forward my calls to another VOIP.

If OBI could come up with a firmware update so it does not reboot that would be great / cool and awesome!

That might be a while so I need another ATA or another VOIP provider....

This sounds like a marketing opportunity for obihai. CC must have a considerable user base that could potentially buy an OBi if it saved them the trouble of porting their CC numbers to another service provider.

I know they are working on it.

My 4 OBI202's have been stable, but not with callcentrics settings.
Here are OBI's recomended settings for my OBI's.

WAN Settings:

DNSServer1 = 216.231.41.2  (one of Callcentrics recomended DNS)

ITSP Profile SIP:

ProxyServer = srv.callcentric.com
RegistrarServer = leave blank
UserAgentDomain = leave blank
OutboundProxy = leave blank

X_ProxyServerRedundancy = unchecked
X_DnsSrvAutoPrefix = checked

SPx Service:

X_KeepAliveEnable = enabled
X_KeepAliveExpires = 120

I hope this works for you, it works for the firmware I have installed on my OBI202's

Where exactly did you see or hear these are Obi settings for CC?
