As you were told by me in December, fill out a ticket with OBi on the OBitalk site. Or do online chat.
OBi does NOT respond to the forum.
Thanks for your reply. Back in Dec last year, I TRIED support on the Obitalk. The solution they give is just reset everything and re-register Obi on obitalk. The issue happened again. You can read the related thread attached above. I tried everything suggested there. I tried all these but still see this issue after a while especially after a router reboot.
Ooma attached to the same network does not show any issues!!
That's great. The point is you can post all day long here and OBi is not going to respond. Either deal with them, or toss your device - but complaining to fellow customers that OBi doesn't respond to posts is silly.

I am sure Obihai monitors this forum. Even maybe they do not officially reply. My post is to make sure Obihai and Obihai customers aware of customer experience and know about issues. I am actually here to help Obi to improve their product.
I like Obi as a product but to compete well and grow the company, recurring product stability issues need to be addressed.
RFord:
I have the OBi110 for over two years and have not had any issues. Maybe the problem is germane to your network. I have a WRT54G-TM, with DD-DWRT firmware. Maybe you should try a different Router. You say the problem mostly occur when you power cycle the Router. The WRT54G is really a basic router with minimal RAM. I would suggest flashing that Router with DD-DWRT or replacing it all together. Alternatively, disconnect the OBi110 from the Router before power cycling and power up and wait for it to fully synch before attaching the OBi110.
If the issue was with the OBi110, there would be thousands of posts relating to this issue. I think you are an alarmist!

Interesting I got called alarmist by simply stating out the facts. Maybe you have been very lucky with your Obi110 that did not have such problem but it does not help to say based on your experience the issue does not exist in thousands other Obi110 units.
By the way, WRT54G-TM is just a re-branded version of WRT54GS not that much different from WRT54G in hardware. Some version of WRT54G uses the same Broadcom BCM5352 chip set. WRT54G is probably one of the most stable and popular WIFI router one can find in use today.
I would also like to pointing out similar issues reported under these thread.
