obi-support2:
I have read reports from HK users that dialing 7 digit on PSTN Line may cause the OBi110 to reboot.
This is known issue in firmware version 1.2.0.2101; although it might not happen to all units.
(This problem is triggered by the S4 in LINE Port/DigitMap parameter for 7-digit dialing; you can
also avoid this problem by removing S4 from that DigitMap).

A fix is already available. Please upgrade your firmware again (to latest version 1.2.0.2102).
You can use OBiTALK portal to upgrade the firmware.

Note: If you are already on 1.2.0.2102, you can also upgrade by picking up the phone on the OBi,
dial *** and select Option 6, Listen to the Announcement, and press 1 to confirm upgrade
(OBi will start upgrade after you hang up).

Thank you.

Not sure if this is the right place for this question.  My wife calls HK/Taiwan/China averaging about 1000 minutes a month. We're currently using Vonage.  Which VoIP provider do you recommend if I'm to switch to OBi1100/GV to make international calls from the U.S.  And yes, I'm hoping to save some hard earn $$ with OBi1100.  Thank you!

Before answer your questions, may I ask a few questions:

1) Monthly expenses on telephone bill to HK/China/Taiwan
2) Are the called parties the same?
3) Are the called parties dealing with business partners or family members?
