Obi110 misdials on LINE - solution

Setup: Obi110 with PSTN connected to Line port and Google Voice on SP1. Default dial-out is set to Line.

Problem: Outgoing toll-free calls on the Line port were being misdialed. I would enter a number correctly on the phone, but the call would complete to a different number. (Correct number entry verified by checking the redial history on the phone.)

If I bypassed the Obi and connected the PSTN directly to my phone, it dialed correctly.

Solution: Go to Expert configuration > LINE and change the following settings:
DialDelay: 800 (default = 500)
DialDigitOnTime: 300 (default = 200)
DialDigitOffTime: 300 (default = 200)

These settings configure the Obi to wait a little longer to start dialing, and to dial a bit more slowly.

This seems to have worked. If you're having a problem with misdialed landline calls, try the settings above.

Dial Delay allows the Obi to match the line (for echo-cancelling).
Once this is done, the digits will not be distorted, even at faster speeds.
I use  900 100 50 successfuly.
The key is to increase the send delay so that the first digit is sent cleanly.
Start with 1000 150 100 and see if this works.
