Two GV numbers and forwarding them

I've been successfully using GV and the 110 for months for my home phone service, but now I'd like to do something more advanced.

The need has arisen where I'd like to have another number that when called rings a couple of cell phones (or sometimes just one or the other).  Sounds like a good solution for just another regular GVoice number except for one thing:  I use Google Voice on my cell phone and Google Voice doesn't allow you to forward to another Google Voice number.

So, I need a new number to forward to a couple of other numbers, one of which is a GVoice number.  How do I make this happen?

Dustin – welcome to the forum.

Assuming that your existing GV number is on SP1 and the New GV number is on SP2 then:

Voice Services > SP2 Service > X_InboundCallRoute:
{ph,sp1(12222222222),sp1(13333333333),sp2(14444444444)}

Each GV number can have 2 sessions, that is two simultaneous calls. When a call come in on sp2 the OBi110 local phone will ring, sp1 will send ringing to 12222222222 and 13333333333, sp2 will send ringing to 14444444444.

Whichever number answers first will "win the race" and be connected to the incoming call.

This example of "call forking" forks to four endpoints, which is the maximum that the OBi can do.

Alright, I'm beginning to see how this might work.

Unfortunately, I've already got Callcentric on SP2 for E911 and caller id naming.

I'm guessing I'll need another 110, right?  I don't particularly care about ringing a phone hooked up to the 110...

Would there be any issues with having two 110's on the same network?

I'm not in North America, so I don't know much about Callcentric. If you can have free incoming calls on Callcentric on sp2, then you can still use:
Voice Services > SP2 Service > X_InboundCallRoute:
{ph,sp1(12222222222),sp1(13333333333)}

You can use two OBi110s on the same network. In fact, that is my setup here. I would recommend changing the UserAgentPort to be unique for each spX if you do that. If you do not need the Line Port, then an OBi100 is a few $ less. Another option, if you do not need any Line Ports, is to replace your OBi110 with an OBI202 which has 4 spX.
